Astambaa Rushi Maharaj Temple
Ambast is a religious place in Nandurbar division and is an Akrani democracy. The Astamba fair held here is considered to be one of the major fairs of the tribals of South Gujarat and North West Maharashtra.

Kedareshwar Temple – Prakasha
Prakasha is a famous religious place and is popularly known as Dakshin Kashi. Prakasha is one of the fastest developing place in nandurbar district because of its location on state highway and has all facilities around the village including petrol station, civil hospital, junior college and school, and also some small scale industries. The village is frequently flooded during the rainy season but the temple suffers from no damage despite its proximity to the river. The village turns into an island during floods as it is located at the junction of 2 rivers which cutoff the roads leading to village from both the sides.
Shirish Kumar Memorial
Mahatma Gandhi started the Quit India movement against the British in 1942. Shirishkumar was leading a procession protesting against the government in Nandurbar. The police had set up barricades at Mangal Bazar area. The police launched a Lathi charge on the protesters as soon as procession reached them. Shirishkumar had the Tiranga, the Indian national flag. The police opened fire when their Lathi charge could not stop the procession. Shirishkumar was killed on the spot. With him, Dhansukhlal Wani, Ghanshyam Das, Shashidhar Ketkar, and Laldas also died on the same spot.
